It has been about a year and a half since I took a look at a line of play that short-circuits the Jerome Gambit 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Na5!?. - and even then "Jerome Gambit: First Steps (Part 2)" just touched on it.
Sometimes it is hard to stay in touch with old friends.
Sure, three years ago, "Revision" showcased a Stockfish vs Stockfish game with the variation. And five years ago there was "Chess is Difficult: All You Have To Do Is Win". True, six years ago there was "End It" and "Bots on Our Side (Part 1)"
But the real story was only told seven years ago - "Opening Discussion, Not Quite Closed".
If you want some ideas on how to deal with this "Jerome Gambit, Avoided", you might want to check out the links.
