Jerome Gambit: Two Grandmasters Discussing the Jerome Gambit

I just finished watching a Chess Brah video (on YouTube.com) with Grandmasters Aman Hambleton and Yasser Seirawan, on "These are MY subs, I know how they play".

Two Grandmasters discussing the Jerome Gambit... One plays a game, the other appears to be amused at the outcome.

Grandmaster Hambleton is familiar with the Jerome Gambit, and he plays a 3 0 blitz game, giving "Jerome Gambit odds" to his opponent while keeping up the conversation with Grandmaster Seirawan.

"Not to be outdone in generosity," as Joseph Blackburne once commented on his own play, when he faced the Jerome, Grandmaster Hambleton also sacrifices his Queen on move 10.

The game ends in checkmate on move 31, and Grandmaster Hambleton still has slightly over a second on his clock.

As F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway never said to each other,

"Let me tell you about the Grandmasters. They are different from you and me."

"Yes, they play better chess."

Amazing game.

Check it out.
