Yury V. Bukayev has pointed out that, related to the Russian-language chess book, Gambit, by Natalia Ryabova (see the post "Jerome Gambit: Gambit"), there is also her brochure "Sacrifice Theory. The Bishop" with a section on the Jerome gambit.
Besides presenting the two games Keeble,J - Cubitt,J W, Norwich, 1886 (1-0, 17) and Charlick,H - Mann,J, correspondence Australia, 1881 (1-0, 74), there are 11 training games, players unnamed.
The games are well worth examining, which I will do in future blog posts.
