Perusing The Database, I noticed that the top-rated Jerome Gambiteer is Stockfish 15, at 3880.
The lowest - there are 4 players tied - are at 160.
The losest rated player to achieve a draw with the Jerome was at 400.
It looks like the Jerome Gambit (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Bc5 4.Bxf7+) and its relatives are fun for the whole chess club, regardless of rating.
That's how it should be.
